This Was A Message I Sent To An Athiest Who Had Great Hatred to Christianity:
I am a christian. I understand what you say… But Christianity address the individual and people in power (un)believers alike abuse that power and kill… I do not support the War in Iraq! Republicans(Religious Vote[majority]) supported it. Just because, one christian says its alright to beat up gays does not mean you should. I do not think it is right! Jesus said love each other because, none of you are better than each other. So you see the Society and through time has changed the Word of God.
Another thing, I grew up in a large “secular household” I rarely went to church I really only made the sacraments. So I never had much God Questions in my life. Since I was seven up to 16 I had not much to live for except for what I set out to do I felt nothing. Within the past year I have become Christian not athiest. I have found understanding and guidelines for my life. I have followed them and things are improving.
Jesus also says “If you think people hated you first remember they hated me first.” Your saying “your fucking book” and “Fuckin holdin us back” but, I think its wrong to kill a baby “Unborn” in Abortion how about reading the procedure and imagine someone doing that to you? And I dont think its wrong to have stem cells but not from a fertilized egg in conception. Research found Umbilical blood, baby teeth, bone marrow all these contain stem cells how about those? No instead people want to kill life before it has a chance to defend itself.
For the sake of not getting you angry or embarressing you publicly via comments. I am going to tell you that you contradicted yourself… You said that you support stem cells well I am going to assume that since your attacking stem cells its because of the fact it interferes with conception. So since were talking about that you said “I would Not Kill” yet you support the fact that there should be Stem Cell Research… Contradiction! You said you would NOT be the crap outta someone just because, you can YET you would kill life before it had the chance to defend itself.
Now I am not going to attack your beliefs so why are you attacking mine? Why is it that Athiest breakdown faith and question what people believe? You said it yourself every side has something bad to it yes in fact thats a universal truth on both sides of the table.
Athiest want to make life bleak and meaningless for one to self-indulge in anything and everything before one dies. Thats what Athiesm is in a nutshell. Christians want to make life have a purpose to wake up in a society that falls apart because, of our own nature. Christianity is aimed to the individual and not the group. Christianity his a way of thought to not self-indulge everyday but to discipline yourself and mind.
I remember reading this particular verse John 15:18 “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first.” When he describes the world he doesnt me the planet itself but the people of the world SOCIETY. So you see you hate those who follow Christ. You and all the other unbelievers only prove what he says. You want proof of gods exsistence this paragraph has it right here.
I also am assuming that you think through all this writing I am Yelling at you while having the image of me waving my bible around. I assure you I am not I am pretty well composed. Your disbelief only strengthens my belief. Its called taking advantage of a disadvantage.
Another thing unbelievers seem to like to do bust the balls of the believer. If you think I am violent your wrong if you think I am a push-over you are wrong. Ecclesiastes 3:1 “There is a time and a place for everything under heaven.” Defend myself when I need to back down when I need to.
You also said you would not do certain things(10 commandments “have an affair on my fiance” for example). Think about it if God had wrote the 10 commandments that would explain why you would not do those certain things. However, you say God is dead and God wrote the 10 commandments so no god, no commandments, No Commandments how would you know that killing someone was wrong or cheating is wrong? You would not. If people written it things people do disappear over time. We each make small contributions to our society if 10 people wrote each rule of of 10,000,000 the people would revolt. Society has accepted the ten commandments and if you except it quite frankly you accept the exsistence of GOD.
Thats my take on it thanks for seeing my point on it. Just know I am not Just Another Follower but A Follower I take what it is written and take it with wisdom and understanding I am not blind I Do See and I thank Jesus Christ and God and The Holy Spirit for letting me see there view.
